Toronto Blue Jays

REVIEW
Man is it ever rough being a Jays fan right now because the whiplash from last season is actually giving me physical pain. We all remember how electric it was last year finishing first in the AL East with 94 wins and finally getting back to the World Series for the first time in decades just to lose that heartbreaker in game seven extras. It felt like we were finally the powerhouse of the league again but this start to 2026 has been a total disaster. Sitting at 5-7 with a six game losing streak already in the books is not what anyone expected after coming that close to a ring. The injury luck is nonexistent with Scherzer already dealing with arm issues and Kirk out for a month plus losing Ponce for the season. It feels like we went from world series favorites to barely being able to field a professional lineup overnight. We look completely lost on the road and the bats have gone ice cold at the worst possible time. I know people say not to panic in April but going from a game seven world series appearance to watching Tyler Heineman take everyday reps is a tough pill to swallow and I am seriously starting to wonder if last year was our one shot that we missed.
