In her own words
Lola changes language the way other people change glasses. English to begin with, Spanish the moment something is funny, and French when she would rather you leaned in a little closer to hear it. Canadian by upbringing and Colombian by temperament, she has a way of making a large room feel small and a quiet one feel like a party.
She is happy to share the room: duos with another companion and couples both suit her, and she is good at reading who in the room needs drawing out and who needs to be left to enjoy themselves. One to one, she is attentive, playful and in no hurry to get anywhere.
A gin and tonic gets the evening going; a glass of red or white keeps it there. She has a weakness for dark chocolate and an equal one for anything savoury. Aritzia is always a safe gift — but a small piece of art, something you actually chose for her, will be remembered for a long time.
